Our Story

K Segretto Consulting was created with one goal in mind: to elevate the standards of property management. For years, many companies in the industry were founded out of necessity rather than vision. Property management companies worked tirelessly to fill a clear need, often creating solutions on the fly because few resources existed to help them build a strong foundation. They were early pioneers, innovating as much as they could, yet too often operating in isolation. As a result, many struggled to reach their full potential.

We saw the toll this took on owners and teams. Too much energy was spent on putting out fires and managing daily tasks instead of building systems that could sustain growth. Teams were buried in the weeds, reacting to problems rather than preventing them. Phrases like “That won't work in our market” became a shield against progress. Many companies reached a few hundred doors and then found themselves unable to break through to the next stage. The reality is that growth barriers appear at multiple points along the way when strong systems are missing. Some firms struggled to imagine scaling further, while others grew rapidly through sales but faced constant turnover because their operations could not keep pace. Without solid processes, companies lacked the stability and sophistication to sustain growth and realize their full potential.
